This vertical technology uses 90% less land and 90% less water than traditional gardening methods and completely eliminates the use of herbicides or pesticides.  Mayor Garcetti is using the LAUrbanFarms Tower Garden technology at his residence to grow vegetables, fruits, and edible flowers.  LACGC Board Chair, Glen Dake, recently joined LAUrbanFarms Co-Founder, Wendy Coleman, and others to harvest produce from this garden to donate to those in need.
