Stone Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

The Los Angeles Community Garden Council is hosting 2012′s first Stone Fruit Tree Pruning workshop!

Now is the time to prune your nectarines, peaches, plums, cherries, apricots, etc. Join us and Donald Hodel and learn how to cut, what to cut, and where to cut. Pruning your trees annually is a healthy way to ensure healthy growth and tasty fruits. Join us!

Donald R. Hodel is an environmental horticulturist for the University of California Cooperative Extension, Los Angeles County—a full-title position he has held for nearly 25 years. His research focuses on selection, planting and management of woody plants in the landscape with a special emphasis on plant water use, trees and palms. He is considered a world leader in palm taxonomy and horticulture.
