Message From Diana: It's with a heavy heart that I

Message From Diana: It's with a heavy heart that I share that after six incredible years of working with the Los Angeles Community Garden Council, I am moving on to another venture. I am beyond proud of the work that we've done together and the community gardens that have flourished during my time with the organization. I want to thoroughly thank the LACGC board for all their support. I also want to thank all our garden members, garden coordinators, and amazing volunteers. Thanks to you, our gardens are the beautiful safe heavens they are! I feel I walk away with many great connections and friends. Take care of one another and hope to see you around.

Mensaje de Diana: Es con gran pesar que comparto que después de seis años increíbles de trabajar con Los Angeles Community Garden Council me estoy mudando a otra empresa. Estoy más que orgulloso del trabajo que hemos hecho juntos y de los jardines comunitarios que han florecido durante mi tiempo con la organización. Quiero agradecer profundamente a la junta de LACGC por todo su apoyo. También quiero agradecer a todos los miembros de nuestro jardín, coordinadores de jardines y voluntarios increíbles. ¡Gracias a usted, nuestros jardines son los seguros hermosos espacios que son! The Los Angeles Community Garden Council was award

The Los Angeles Community Garden Council was awarded funding through the Los Angeles County Measure W – Safe Clean Water Program to conduct three watershed investigations, known collectively as the Community Garden Stormwater Capture Investigation Project.
The Investigation will identify and assess the potential for community gardens to implement stormwater best management practices. 🤔💦🌱
The Investigation will result in conceptual stormwater capture designs for three (3) community gardens, one for each watershed. These designs can then be used to apply for the gardens’ own grant funding to support permitting and implementation.

Los Angeles Community Garden Council a recibió fondos a través de la Medida W del Condado de Los Ángeles - Programa de Agua Limpia y Segura para realizar tres investigaciones de cuencas hidrográficas, conocidas colectivamente como el Proyecto de Investigación de Captura de Aguas Pluviales de Jardines Comunitarios.
La Investigación identificará y evaluará el potencial de los jardines comunitarios para implementar las mejores prácticas de gestión de aguas pluviales. 🤔💦🌱
La Investigación dará como resultado diseños conceptuales de captura de aguas pluviales para tres (3) jardines comunitarios, uno para cada cuenca. Estos diseños se pueden usar para solicitar la financiación de subvenciones propias de los jardines para apoyar la obtención de permisos y la implementación.
